Welcome  to the PUENTE Library Guide!

I am very excited about this partnership: PUENTE + Library. Think of me as a bridge (puente) between you and Kristin. My job is to help you navigate the world of information and make sure you find quality resources so you can write quality papers. To help you with this task, I have created a library guide or web site just for you! The purpose of this guide is to help you find information effectively in today's digital age, and yes, that includes the library as well.

I describe today's college students, that means you, as information gatherers, and believe me, you are very good at it; however, simply gathering information is not considered college-level research. Research requires the ability to find, use, and communicate information effectively and ethically--a process also known as information literacy. This guide provides the tools and methods that will move you beyond the mere gathering of information, and into the realm of real academic research. So make sure to bookmark it!

Library Hours: Monday through Thursday 8:00am to 8:25pm and Friday 8:00am to 2:00pm.

If you have any research questions or simply get stuck along the way, come talk to a librarian at the Reference Desk. We are on duty during all library open hours.
