FAQ about your Library Account

Why do I need a library Account? 

Your library account allows you to:

  • Renew books

  • Review your checked out items

  • View current fines on your account

  • Put books on hold to be picked up at the library circulation desk


Why do I need to use the special link? 

Your library account is managed in a separate website that is linked to our main search at the library home page. To view your account, you must create an account and login to a different website. 


Is there any other way to access my library account information? 

Yes. You can always call the library circulation desk during our regular hours of operation: (510) 723-7513


Wait, isn't this just the same thing as logging into the library databases from off campus?
