FAQ about your Library Account

Why do I need a library Account? 

Your library account allows you to:

  • Renew books
  • Review your checked out items
  • View current fines on your account
  • Put books on hold to be picked up at the library circulation desk

 

How do I Log into My account?

Click on "Sign In" on the top right, enter your W ID number and your Class-WEB PIN.

It Says It Doesn't Recognize Me or There's an Error.  What do I do?  

First, go to Class-WEB and see if you can get in via that method.  If you can, right after, clear your browser's cookies and web history, and then try to sign in again.  If you can't sign in, contact the Library at (510)723-7006.  You may also need to contact registration as well at 510.723-6700.

Is there any other way to access my library account information? 

Yes. You can always call the library circulation desk during our regular hours of operation: (510) 723-7513

 

Wait, isn't this just the same thing as logging into the library databases from off campus? 

Yes, it now is.  As well as the same way to log into Class-WEB!
