Librarians love helping students! We can assist you with planning a research paper, finding the information you're looking for, compiling your works cited list, or evaluating and assessing your sources. There are many ways to get help, don't be shy! 

In Person

Every hour that the library is open, you can come talk to a librarian at the Reference Desk in the middle of the library. The library is open Monday to Thursdays 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.  Hours are subject to change in the Spring 2022 semester. Check our hours for updates. 

Online Chat

Online chat reference with a Chabot Librarian: 

  • Monday to Thursdays 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Fridays 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.
  • Saturday 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
