Placing Holds at the Library
When you place a hold on something at the library, it gets saved under your name and we keep it for you at the library circulation desk.
Holds are saved for you for two weeks.
1. Visit this link and sign in to your Library Account: https://chabotcollegelib.on.worldcat.org/discovery
2. Now try searching for your book in the search box at the top of the page. Make sure the book you want is available, and click on the title of the book.
3. Scroll down to the availability section for the book and click on Place Hold.
4. You can choose whether you want to pick up the book at Chabot College Library or Las Positas College Library. You can also place holds on books at Las Positas and have them delivered to Chabot College Library.
After you click on Submit, you will receive confirmation that the book is being held for you. You will receive an email when the book is ready for pick up.
