Welcome to the Library Guide to Professor Lundberg's ENGL 1A class.
The purpose of this guide is to help you find information effectively in today's digital age, and yes, that includes the library as well.
I describe twenty-first century college students, that means you, as information gatherers, and believe me, you are very good at it; however, simply gathering information is not considered college-level research.
Research requires the ability to find, use, and communicate information effectively and ethically--a process also known as information literacy. This guide provides the tools and methods that will move you beyond the mere gathering of information, and into the realm of real academic research!
