From the assignment:
As a group (2-4 students), research and present on a social issue or topic related to ethnic studies. Overall topics will include: media, education, income inequality, health disparities, environmental racism, criminal justice system, mass incarceration, wealth, housing, and colorism...
A 2-page proposal in advance will be due, explaining your topic and including works cited sheet of 2 outside sources and 2 in-class sources (you can list two different chapters from the textbook) you plan to reference for your research.
