Electronic sign up is for a maximum of two hours a day and six hours a week for the Maker's Space. There is also a group research area behind the reference desk of which you can sign up directly with a librarian.
You can sign up to one week in advance.
Make sure you are in the room by 10 minutes past the hour or the room will become available to waiting groups. If your group leaves early, please notify the librarian at the reference desk.
If a slot is available, please sign up. A librarian is available to help you on the left side of the main desk. If a room is empty and it's ten minutes past the hour, see the librarian who will sign you up.
If there is confusion over who is supposed to be in a room when you come in, please come to the left side of the main desk and we will sort it out.
There is no carry over for groups. Adding or subtracting members to fill more than 2 hours does NOT constitute a new group. The Library requires all members to be signed up regardless when one showed during a 2 hour time period.
Because demand is heavy and the Library supports students' research, project and study needs, the rooms are NOT available for organizations/clubs.
Sometimes the Library may need to schedule a room with short notice and may need to cancel your reserved time. We are sorry for the inconvenience on the rare occasion that happens.
Students who are in violation of our rules will no longer be able to sign up.
