On the right side, all of these movies one way or another address the issue on stereotypes in the media. Of course, other movies and t.v. shows and advertising can be looked at to see if persons of different ethnicities, minorities, color, sexual identity, gender, religion, etc. are being treated fairly or not (including to determine if stereotypes of persons are prominent).

From the book, Images that Injure, an eBook in the Library's collection, this essay explores Disney's experiment in promoting a traditional fairy tale with a multicultural cast in an attempt to break stereotypes, and whether or not Disney succeeded (especially when considering advertising, promotions, and the later musical on tour casting versions).
